Submitted to HackED Beta 2023; 1st place winner of the ‘MecSimCalc’ category.
We created a webapp that sends reminders to your phone with demotivational messages. We used Flask for the backend, SQLite for the database, and Twilio API for sending the text messages. The frontend was built out of vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
We ended up using demotivational messages over motivational ones solely because they were funnier.
