- One of the 38 students chosen all across Canada to conduct paid research in the WISEST Program.
- I was placed remotely in the EdTeKLA Research Lab where I used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design a website interface for predictive text models that assist Plains Cree users.
- My knowledge and contributions to the project have been published to the University of Alberta’s Education and Research Archive.
- I worked on two additional projects that included:
- Gathering resources for a Cree text corpus that will be implemented into machine translation or predictive text tools to assist Cree speakers.
- Testing a game in development called Soundhunters where learners are exposed to Cree language sounds that helps them in auditory skills.
